Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Guard Part Time Patrol in Dallas, TX. You will provide security at a manufacturing/industrial location, conduct armed patrols, monitor access, and deter incidents while delivering professional customer service.

This role requires at least 1 year of armed security experience, an armed guard card, and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screen. CPR/First Aid are preferred; HS diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Armed Guard Card or license required.
• A state/local security license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while following site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and access-control concerns calmly and notify responders as directed.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for staff and visitors.
• Prepare reports and maintain documentation of patrols and incidents.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for patrol observations, incidents, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
