POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Afognak Diversified Services, Inc., a wholly owned company of Afognak Native Corporation, has a part-time opportunity for an Armed Security Officer in Wichita, KS. The officer secures the facility under established operating procedures and processes.

1. Responds to a variety of calls/incidents.
2. Secures/safeguards specific scenes.
3. Performs crowd control as required.
4. Performs personnel, vehicular, and building facility checks; as well as First Aid and CPR as required.
5. Completes all required reports, forms, and other established procedures via electronic security application.
6. Safely maintains and qualifies with assigned weapons, maintains uniform and grooming standards in accordance with company policies.
7. Operates patrol vehicle in a safe manner, conducts flag protocols, and guards all assets.
8. Provides motorist assistance and escorts persons and equipment as needed.
9. Conducts other assignments in accordance with established SOPs.

Pay rate: $23.50 to $25.50 hourly.
