Job summary

Strategic Security Corp. seeks a Lead Guard to provide on-site leadership and security support across retail, commercial, government, and similar environments.

The Lead Guard serves as a senior member of the assigned security team and helps ensure post orders, licensing requirements, and SSC policies are followed while protecting people and assets. You will lead by example, coach officers, manage incidents, and coordinate with management and law enforcement as needed while promoting SSC’s GET

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must possess all security licenses, registrations, permits, and certifications required by the state.
• Armed Lead Guards must complete firearms training and qualify.
• Must meet requirements to operate a company-owned or client-provided vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties of an armed or unarmed Security Guard.
• Serve as on-site point of contact during the shift.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to security personnel.
• Ensure posts are staffed and report call-outs or coverage concerns.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with law enforcement when required.
• Maintain equipment and post integrity.
