Job summary

Strategic Security Corp. seeks a Lead Guard responsible for on-site leadership and security support across varied environments. Manage post orders, maintain officer accountability, and ensure professional standards while coordinating with SSC management.

You will lead by example, maintain situational awareness, assist during incidents, and mentor officers while adhering to SSC licensing requirements and client post orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must possess all security licenses, registrations, permits, and certifications required by the state.
• For armed assignments, must possess a valid State Armed Security Guard License/Card and firearms permit.
• Must complete SSC and client-required training.
• Armed guards must qualify with the firearm per SSC requirements.
• Must be able to operate vehicle when driving is part of the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform armed or unarmed security duties as applicable to the post.
• Serve as on-site point of contact for security officers during shifts.
• Guide and reinforce site Post Orders and SSC policies.
• Monitor staffing and report coverage concerns through SSC channels.
• Ensure officers report for duty and complete check-in procedures.
• Oversee post appearance, conduct, and equipment readiness.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders as required.
• Prepare incident reports and support documentation for SSC management.
