The position is full-time with a night shift (10:00pm–6:30am) and involves weekend/holiday rotation. A NY armed security license or active NYPD status is required, with several certifications encouraged within 90 days to 1 year of hire.

Qualifikationen

• Valid NY Armed Security Guard license or active NY police officer status at hire.
• Armed security license and NY pistol permit within 6 months of hire.
• DCJS Basic Course for Police Officers preferred.
• High School Diploma/GED; Associate degree preferred.
• Valid NYS Driver's License required.
• IAHSS Basic Security Certification within 1 year of hire.
• FEMA IS-100c within 90 days of hire.
• BLS Certification within 3 weeks of hire.

Aufgaben

• Provide armed, uniformed security presence across SJH campuses.
• Assess threats and respond to incidents affecting life and safety.
• Coordinate with law enforcement as needed and report findings.
• Complete thorough investigations and maintain detailed reports.
• Ensure compliance with NY Penal Law and security policies.
