Job summary

Security Services Northwest Inc. is seeking an Armed Security Guard for Everett, WA. The role includes patrols, access control, and safety escorts to prevent theft and protect people and assets.

Candidates should have 2–4 years of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and must be able to obtain a WA Security Guard license. The position offers competitive pay with benefits and opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean criminal/driving record.
• 2–4 years of combined experience in military, law enforcement, or security preferred.
• Must be able to obtain a Washington State Security Guard license.

Responsibilities

• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire, and accidents.
• Monitor activities and control access.
• Provide safety escorts and assist customers, employees, and visitors.
• Complete Daily Activity Reports (DAR) and Incident Reports.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
• Represent SSNW’s brand while in uniform.

• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire, and accidents
• Monitor activities
• Access Control
• Safety escorts
• Using provided communication devices
• Represent SSNW’s brand
• Properly wear the issued uniform
• Complete Daily Activity Reports (DAR)
• Complete Incident Reports
• Work with local law enforcement, and emergency services
• Provide friendly assistance to customers, employees and visitors following the department's procedures.
• Other duties as described in the Post Orders

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have a clean criminal record and driving record
• 2-4 years of combined experience (Military, Law Enforcement, and/or Security) preferred
• Must have, or be able to obtain a Security Guard license in Washington State
• Smart phone to access the apps we use for scheduling, clocking in/out, and reporting.

• Able to work non-traditional hours including swings, graveyard, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to react appropriately in high stress situations

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Prior Public Safety and/or Military experience preferred
• Knowledge of security protocols, and equipment

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to conduct regular walking foot patrols
• Able to stand 8-12 hours a day
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times (occasionally)
