Job summary

Silver Star Protection Group LLC is seeking an Armed Security Guard to protect client sites in Columbus, OH on a part-time basis. The role requires flexibility for shifts and locations, with ongoing opportunities in Reynoldsburg and Dayton areas.

Responsibilities include patrolling sites, monitoring surveillance, reporting incidents, and maintaining professionalism with clients and staff. Must meet active OPOTA and firearm ownership requirements; prior armed security experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active OPOTA required.
• Must own a firearm with a level 2 retention holster or higher.
• Previous armed security or related experience preferred.
• Strong situational awareness and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and de-escalation skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide security services at the assigned client site(s), ensuring the safety and security of personnel, premises, and assets.
• Be available to work various shifts and client sites as needed.
• Schedule and locations may change depending on client needs, staffing requirements, or other operational factors.
• Maintain professionalism in all interactions with clients, visitors, and staff.
