Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Response Patrol Driver in Windsor, NC to safeguard clients across government and other sites. The role involves driving patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and responding to security concerns with professional accuracy.

The position requires a minimum of 6 months in armed security or related fields, a valid driver's license, and compliance with licensing and background checks. Day and night shifts are offered with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience (min 6 months).
• A valid driver’s license required per policy.
• Armed guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws; drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, parking areas, and access points, reporting unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas by verifying credentials and logging activity.
• Complete reports, incident documentation, and shift communications as required.
