Armed Protective Security Officers - South Carolina

BTI Security is seeking experienced Armed Protective Service Officers (PSO) for full-time and part-time roles in South Carolina. This essential position involves protecting sites, staff, and clients through patrols, access control, surveillance monitoring, and emergency response. We offer career growth, competitive pay, and a referral bonus of $250 after 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities include:

• Patrolling and monitoring premises
• Controlling access points
• Monitoring surveillance systems
• Reporting incidents
• Using security equipment such as magnetometers and X-ray machines
• Communicating via radios
• Responding to emergencies, including CPR and first aid

Minimum requirements:

• At least 21 years old
• U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident with honorable discharge from military service
• Social Security Card issued by SSA
• Experience in armed security or law enforcement, or military service with honorable discharge
• High school diploma or GED
• Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in firearms, OC spray, baton, and First Aid/CPR/AED

Physical demands:

• Ability to perform duties involving prolonged walking, standing, and sitting
• Remain alert for up to 12 hours
