Qualifications

• Background check and drug screening are required.
• English proficiency to read, write, and understand procedures.
• Demonstrated situational awareness and judgment in security contexts.
• Two years of relevant security experience is preferred.
• Graduate of security or law enforcement training programs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Protect federal personnel, visitors, facilities, government property, and sensitive assets.
• Maintain visible security presence to deter criminal activity.
• Control access to facilities by verifying credentials and authorization status.
• Conduct inspections of personnel, vehicles, and facilities.
• Perform armed security patrols on foot and by vehicle.
• Monitor access control procedures and facility policies.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and security events promptly.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and security leadership during incidents.
• Exercise force as authorized and required by law and policy.
• Participate in guard mount activities and receive daily briefings.
• Prepare incident reports and daily logs.
• Operate radios, security systems, and access control equipment.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
