Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Perimeter Security in Bronx, NY. As an Armed Patrol Officer, you will monitor locations, deter incidents with a visible presence, and provide outstanding customer service while supporting site operations.

Minimum requirements include NY Security Guard License, Concealed Carry Permit, Armed Guard Card, 6 months armed security experience, 21+ years of age, and a high school diploma, with background and drug screening as applicable.

Qualifications

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Industry-specific security training participation may be required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and follow reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the business location, perimeter, and assigned areas.
• Monitor access points and observe people, vehicles, and property per site procedures.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift records accurately.
