Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Vehicle Driver in Marion, NC. This full-time role requires patrolling government facilities, controlling access, and responding to incidents while maintaining professional communication and a strong service focus.

You will drive armed patrols, complete detailed reports, and follow AU driver policy requirements to ensure safety and security for staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to staff, residents, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and parking areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor and control access to designated areas by verifying authorization, observing visitor activity, and reporting unauthorized entry attempts according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related matters.
