Allied Universal in Land O' Lakes, FL is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Response to provide armed security on a fixed schedule with the option to pick extra shifts. Pay rate is $23.25 per hour.

This role offers part-time hours, anchor shifts, and opportunities to earn more through the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program while supporting government buildings and facilities.

Qualifications

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Possess a Corrections Officer License.
• Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and county facility personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government buildings, parking areas, grounds, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, maintaining a professional presence at public-facing facilities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting emergency services and/or appropriate personnel as required.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, observations, patrol activities, and security-related concerns, and operate assigned equipment in accordance with policy.

Education

Armed Guard Card/License
