Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol in Clearwater, Florida. This role offers reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $24.50 per hour and the position supports part-time schedules with potential to build toward full-time hours up to 40 per week.

Qualifications

• Three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience or a college degree.
• Armed guard card or license.
• Age 21 or older for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Willingness to complete industry-specific security training.
• Licensing requirements may vary by state/local laws and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and authorized personnel at a government facility.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials per site requirements.
• Prepare incident reports and communicate information to leadership and emergency responders.
