Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response Driver in Nashville, TN, to safeguard clients across various industries including government facilities. The role includes vehicle and foot patrols, responding to incidents, and maintaining professional communications.

An armed guard card/license and a valid driver’s license are required. The position is full-time with daytime shifts and a pay rate of $21.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel at a government corrections location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and parking areas to deter unauthorized entry.
• Monitor access to controlled areas, verify credentials and authorizations, maintain visitor and contractor records, and report access concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required documentation.
• Maintain awareness of assigned areas and equipment; communicate professionally with facility personnel and law enforcement as needed; prepare accurate activity and incident reports.
