Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer Elite Patrol Driver in Plano, TX. You will conduct armed patrols, provide customer service, and deter security incidents at a retail location.

Requirements include 3+ years combined law enforcement/military or 5+ years armed security, a valid Texas Level III Armed Certification, and a high school diploma. Driver’s license and background/drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted per laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly, coordinating with leadership and first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular armed patrols throughout retail areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions, reporting concerns.
• Maintain daily activity reports and incident documentation per laws and client requirements.
