The role requires a valid driver's license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by performing site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a government corrections environment.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorization as required, and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare incident reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, observations, and security-related activities.
