Job summary

Allied Universal, Whiteville, NC, is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver. You will provide armed patrols, drive to sites, and deliver professional customer service in a government corrections setting.

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, be at least 21, and pass background/drug screening per policy. This is a full-time role with a pay rate of $21.50 per hour and a daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 for armed roles; valid driver’s license required.
• Armed guard card or license preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as per law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Must be able to perform armed security duties lawfully.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, visitors, and residents by following site procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and critical situations calmly and report as required.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, perimeter areas, and parking locations.
• Monitor access to government correctional locations and verify credentials as directed.
• Maintain proficiency with equipment and follow all laws and site rules for armed personnel.
