Job summary

Allied Universal in Butner, NC is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Armed Patrol Driver to protect clients across government facilities and other locations. The role includes conducting armed patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, and delivering professional customer service.

You will prepare accurate logs and reports, respond calmly to alarms and disturbances, and follow site procedures. A valid driver’s license is required; an Armed Guard Card is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license; Armed Guard Card/License preferred.
• Be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen are required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors and authorized personnel while following security procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas, verify credentials and logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and disturbances, following protocol and coordinating with law enforcement when needed.
• Prepare activity reports, incident documentation and logs.
