Allied Universal, a leading security and facilities services company, seeks an Armed Patrol Security Officer in Jacksonville, FL. You will perform routine and random armed patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while maintaining professional communication with staff and visitors.

Position is full-time with a night schedule and a pay rate of $18.25 per hour, offering benefits and opportunities within a nationwide security network.

Qualifications

• Armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law and policy.
• Armed guard card or license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and utility customers while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document activity as required.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner and coordinate with site personnel and responders.
• Prepare incident reports and daily activity documentation for leadership.
