Job summary

Allied Universal in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Security Guard Armed Patrol Operations to protect client sites within a utilities environment. You will conduct routine armed patrols, monitor access points, deter incidents, and respond to alarms with calm professionalism while delivering strong customer service.

This full-time role requires 1+ year armed security experience, HS diploma, and a valid armed guard card where required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year armed security or related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Armed guard card or license preferred where required.
• Access control or badge experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency responses.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of facilities and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and alarms with calm, professional escalation when needed.
• Maintain reports and activity logs per policy and procedures.
