Job summary

Allied Universal in the United States is seeking an armed Security Professional to perform hospital security patrols and monitor access, CCTV, and alarm systems. This role emphasizes de-escalation, patient transport support, and incident reporting.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and at least two years in customer service or protective services. You will respond to emergencies and enforce site rules following client guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current driver’s license if driving a company- or customer-owned vehicle.
• Minimum of two years of verifiable employment history in customer service or the protective service industry.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Able to operate radio or console monitors.
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Problem solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of hospital grounds on foot or in a vehicle and document observations.
• Assist staff with de-escalation of situations and restrain combative individuals as needed within guidelines.
• Transport patients to the morgue if required.
• Escort patients from helicopter pad to the ER.
• Assist with evacuations during fires, medical emergencies, or natural disasters.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department if needed.
• Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized entry and prevent contraband.
• Investigate incidents and prepare written reports; maintain logs as required.
