Qualifications

• Law enforcement experience preferred.
• Healthcare security experience preferred.
• Verbal de-escalation training within 60 days of hire.
• BLS required within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides security for patients, associates, and visitors; patrols hospital buildings and grounds.
• Responds to emergency codes and disaster events as needed.
• Investigates incidents; prepares timely reports with factual information.
• Enforces CHRISTUS Health policies and state laws; manages parking controls as assigned.
• Assists with combative individuals and preserves a safe environment.
