Qualifications

• CPO certification may be required.
• Minimum 2 years of corrections, law enforcement, military or related degree in criminal justice.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as conditions of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies with calm, professional problem-solving.
• Conduct armed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction and escort requests.
• Prepare clear incident reports and maintain equipment per site policies.
