Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• CPO certification is required.
• A guard card/license is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted.
• Drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations calmly and professionally, coordinating with hospital personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and assist with access-control procedures, visitor direction, and escort requests.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain equipment per policy.
