Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Armed Driver Front Desk Operator in Orlando, FL to provide professional security presence, manage visitor access, and respond to security incidents at a financial institution.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, armed security credentials, and background checks; CPR/First Aid is preferred, with a focus on customer service and escalation of security concerns.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least three years of experience as a military police officer, corrections officer, armed security-related professional, or be a certified law enforcement graduate.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution reception area while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the lobby and reception area, verify visitor credentials as directed, and maintain visitor records in accordance with site requirements.
• Answer incoming calls, greet and direct visitors, and communicate professionally with personnel, vendors, and emergency responders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain awareness of activity at the front desk and promptly report unusual conditions or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
