Job summary

BTI Security in Miami, FL is seeking an armed security professional to protect public figures and government property. You will monitor access control, perform ID checks, and conduct roving patrols of federal property, while delivering clear written and verbal reports.

Responsibilities include emergency response, CPR/first aid, and maintaining credentials per contract. Must be 21+, US citizen or eligible, with armed security or law enforcement background, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• US citizen or LPR with honorable discharge from US Armed Forces.
• Two years armed security experience or one year law enforcement in full-duty status.
• Two years as a US Armed Forces member with honorable discharge.
• Knowledge of magnetometer and X-ray machines.
• Must speak/read English and write reports in English.
• Must qualify with a semi-automatic.
• Strong knowledge of the security industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer service-driven mindset.
• Ability to present information to all levels of internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Protect public figures, coordinate crime prevention activities, and guard government property.
• Monitor federal building access control, IDs checks, and security patrols of federal property.
• Provide detailed daily activity and incident reports.
• Use radios and other communication devices clearly and concisely.
• Provide emergency response and evaluation procedures.
• Perform CPR or first aid when needed.
• Ensure credentials are maintained per contract requirements.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Project Manager.
