Job summary

BTI Security seeks Armed Federal Protective Security Officers (FPS) for Key West operations to protect federal property and public figures while deterring threats and ensuring safety. You will conduct access control, credential checks, and roving patrols, with detailed reporting requirements.

Candidates must meet age and citizenship requirements, have 2+ years of armed security or 1 year of law enforcement experience, and be able to use magnetometers and X-ray equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Citizen or permanent resident with honorable discharge from US Armed Forces.
• Minimum two years of armed security experience or one year in full-duty law enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Protect public figures and guard government property.
• Monitor access control and identification checks.
• Provide incident reports and detailed daily activity reports.
• Use two-way radios and other communication devices.
• Provide emergency response and CPR/First Aid when needed.
• Maintain credentials per contract requirements.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or project manager.
