Job summary

Control Risks in the Boston/Cambridge area is seeking an Executive Security Driver to support a major global life sciences client. This role blends protective driving with armed executive protection, requiring calm judgment and discretion in a corporate setting.

The successful candidate will perform advance work, route planning, and protective security operations, reporting to the Senior Executive Protection Manager and collaborating with security and travel teams.

Qualifications

Active LEOSA credential required.
Executive Protection certification required.
Protective driving certification required.
CPR/AED/First Aid certification required.
Experience supporting corporate executives or high-net-worth individuals preferred.
Ability to carry a firearm and obtain necessary permits.

Responsibilities

Provide armed and unarmed executive protection during daily activities, meetings, events, and travel.
Deliver secure, discreet transportation for executives and passengers.
Conduct advance work, route reconnaissance, and movement planning.
Develop and execute protective security plans and contingency procedures.
Monitor environment and identify security concerns or threats.
Coordinate with assistants, stakeholders, venue security, law enforcement, and vendors.
Maintain readiness to respond to emergencies and security incidents.
Ensure vehicles are maintained and ready for operations.
Maintain accurate security records and travel documentation.
