Job summary

Control Risks seeks an Executive Protection Driver to provide secure, discreet transport for a senior executive in Chicago. You will work with Executive Protection Managers to plan daily travel, assess threats, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in close protection driving, completes an approved protection school, and holds IL security credentials. Flexible travel and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience driving and providing close protection for high-net-worth clients.
• Must have completed an executive protection school.
• Must have or be able to obtain Illinois Security License and PERC card.
• AED, first aid and CPR certification required.
• Able to travel up to 10% and work weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure secure transportation for C-suite executives, prioritizing safety and comfort.
• Provide discreet close protection to the Principal, intervening only when necessary.
• Respond swiftly to security incidents or emergencies.
• Address threats and vulnerabilities with mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate travel plans with Executive Protection Managers and adhere to plans.
