Job summary

Control Risks is seeking an Executive Protection Driver in Chicago to provide safe, discreet transport for senior executives. The role collaborates with Executive Protection Managers to plan travel, identify threats, and respond to incidents while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Requirements include 3+ years of close protection driving, executive protection training, Illinois license, PERC, and AED/CPR certification. Ability to travel up to 10% and work weekends is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience driving and providing close protection for high-net-worth clients.
• Completion of a reputable executive protection school (government or private).
• Must have or be able to obtain an Illinois Security License.
• PERC (Permanent Employee Registration Card) as required by Illinois for security professionals.
• Armed license training may be required.
• Valid US driver’s license is mandatory.
• AED, first aid and CPR certification required.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Flexibility to work weekends as needed.
• Must be discreet with a high level of confidentiality.
• Must have a valid US passport or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Ensure secure transportation for C-suite executives, prioritizing safety and comfort.
• Provide close protection to the Principal in a discreet manner.
• Respond swiftly to security incidents or emergencies.
• Address threats and vulnerabilities with mitigation strategies.
• Adhere to plans and manage trip-related requirements as directed by Executive Protection Managers.
• Deliver real-time security advice as situations arise.
