EVENT RISK INC. is seeking an Armed Security Operative for a temporary, part-time role in Central Ohio. Responsibilities include providing armed security at designated spaces, conducting risk assessments, and coordinating secure transport while maintaining confidentiality.

Candidates must meet Ohio licensing and background checks, and have strong situational awareness. Role is up to 90 days, averaging 4–12 days per month, with shifts up to 10 hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; a degree in a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in Law Enforcement or Executive Protection required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to successfully complete fingerprint-based background screening and meet all registrations, licensing, and eligibility requirements as a condition of employment.
• Strong situational awareness and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work irregular hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide security for designated individuals.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement security measures to ensure safety during travel and events.
• Coordinate logistics for secure transportation and site security.
• Always maintain confidentiality and discretion.
• Respond to emergencies and security incidents promptly and effectively.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies as needed.
