Job summary

Event Risk Inc. is seeking an Armed Security Operative for NW/Central Ohio on a temporary, part-time basis. The role requires providing armed security at public and private spaces, ensuring safety, and maintaining confidentiality.

Candidates must meet Ohio licensing and credentialing requirements, with last-minute scheduling possible within a 90-mile radius. Hours are up to 10 hours per shift, up to 90 days total, averaging 4–12 days per month based on client needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; a degree in a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in Law Enforcement or Executive Protection required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to successfully complete required fingerprint-based background screening and meet all PISGS registration, licensing, and eligibility requirements as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide security for designated individuals.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement security measures to ensure safety during travel and events.
• Coordinate logistics for secure transportation and site security.
• Always maintain confidentiality and discretion.
• Respond to emergencies and security incidents promptly and effectively.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies as needed.
