Job summary

Event Risk Inc. is seeking an Armed Security Operative to provide armed security at public and private spaces. This temporary, part-time role may last up to 90 days, with shifts up to 10 hours and roughly 4–12 days per month, depending on client needs. Requires Ohio credentials and proactive threat identification.

Must possess all registrations and licenses, and pass a fingerprint background check. Candidates within 90 miles are favored due to scheduling needs and location constraints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; a degree in a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in Law Enforcement or Executive Protection required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to successfully complete required fingerprint-based background screening and meet all PISGS registration, licensing, and eligibility requirements as a condition of employment.
• Strong situational awareness and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work irregular hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide security for designated individuals.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement security measures to ensure safety during travel and events.
• Coordinate logistics for secure transportation and site security.
• Always maintain confidentiality and discretion.
• Respond to emergencies and security incidents promptly and effectively.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies as needed.
