Position Summary

This is a temporary, part-time position anticipated to last up to 90 days. Work is expected to average approximately 4-12 days per month, based on operational and client needs. Shifts are generally expected to last up to 10 hours. Hours and schedules may vary based on assignment requirements.

The Armed Security Operative will provide armed security at public and private spaces as designated. Provide appropriate security measures to ensure the safety of all persons. Security measures may include but not be limited to visitor management, weapon detection screening, posted perimeter security (interior and exterior.) They must remain vigilant and proactive in identifying and mitigating potential security threats to area of responsibility. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion in all matters related to assigned duties.

Due to potential last-minute scheduling, only candidates within 90 miles of this region will be considered for this position.

  • Must possess and maintain all registrations, licenses, firearm-bearer notations, firearms qualifications, and other credentials required by Ohio law to perform assigned armed security duties. Employee may not perform armed assignments until all required credentials and firearm-bearer authorization are active and valid.Candidates that possess LEO or LEOSA can obtain appropriate licensure.
