Allied Universal, a leading security services company, seeks a Corrections Facility Security Officer - Armed in Charleston, SC. You will guard a government facility, perform armed patrols, control access, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security supervisor/management experience, or 3 years of security experience.
• Armed Guard Card or license required.
• 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening per law.
• Licensing requirements per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel at a government corrections location.
• Conduct regular/unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds and access points.
• Monitor restricted area access and maintain visitor/incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and effectively.
• Observe/report policy violations and hazardous conditions; complete activity reports.
