Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer - Cleared (Clearance Eligible - Armed) to protect personnel and information at California client sites. This role offers training in site-specific security protocols and opportunities for growth within a leading security and facility services company. Pay rate is $25.35 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Able to obtain a DoD security clearance.
• Must be 21+ and possess strong communication and customer service skills.
• Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a DoD-cleared site or prior military experience.
• Licensing requirements depend on local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
• Greet guests and employees and escorts visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points
• Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel
• Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms
• Act as a first responder in emergency situations
