Job summary

Allied Universal in the United States is hiring a Cleared Security Officer for a part-time, flex-schedule role in California. This position is unarmed and requires a DoD clearance.

You will patrol the facility, greet visitors and contractors, enforce access control, and report security incidents to the client and other personnel. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or 5 years of security experience, plus a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or 5 years of verifiable security experience.
• Must have DoD security clearance.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism.
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure protection of people and assets.
• Greet guests and employees and escort visitors and contractors to secure entry/exit points.
• Follow post orders and report safety concerns, breaches, and unusual circumstances.
• Respond to alarms and act as first responder in emergencies.
