Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Cleared Security Officer (Unarmed) in a role that requires a Department of Defense clearance. Starting pay is $24.69 per hour with paid orientation and training.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations.
• Three years of security experience on a DoD-cleared site or prior military experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism.
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure protection of people, assets, and sensitive information.
• Greet guests and employees and escort visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points.
• Follow site-specific manuals and post orders; report safety concerns and security breaches to client and other personnel.
• Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency alarms; act as a first responder in emergencies.
