Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Cleared Security Officer for the Poway location. The role requires an active DoD clearance and an exposed firearm permit, with a pay rate of $26/hour.

You will be entrusted with protecting personnel, property, and sensitive information at client sites, receiving specialized training aligned to your clearance level. As a security professional, you will conduct patrols, greet and escort visitors, and report any safety concerns or incidents.

Qualifications

• Must have an active DoD security clearance appropriate for the site.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable security experience.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Minimum of 21 years of age and strong written/spoken communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality security services protecting personnel, property, and information.
• Conduct patrols on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to safeguard people and assets.
• Greet guests and escort visitors and contractors to secure entry/exit points.
• Follow site post orders and report safety concerns or security breaches to client/other personnel.
