Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Security Officer Patrol Presence in Dallas, TX. In this full-time role, you will monitor facilities, deter incidents, and support access control while delivering professional customer service to employees and visitors.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of armed security or law enforcement experience, possess an armed guard card and Level III Texas certification, and can pass background checks and drug screening. A high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Armed security experience in security, law enforcement, or military.
• Armed guard card or license required.
• Level III armed certification in Texas required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors while enforcing site procedures and access-control requirements.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of production areas, warehouses, and facility perimeter to identify hazards and violations.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following post orders and escalating when needed.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor/contractor entry, and document activities and incidents.
• Carry assigned equipment in compliance with laws, licensing, training, and site policies.
