Job summary

Artha in Arlington, VA is seeking a hands-on Recruitment and HR Specialist to partner with business leaders and help build and scale the site. This onsite role blends day-to-day recruitment with HR generalist duties to support rapid growth.

You will own the full employee lifecycle—from recruiting and onboarding to development, retention, and offboarding—while creating and implementing processes and policies that align with U.S. employment practices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of progressive Recruitment and HR experience.
• Experience supporting employees and managers across the full HR lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with recruitment and talent acquisition.
• Good understanding of U.S. employment practices and employee relations.
• Confident working with managers and business leaders and able to build strong relationships.
• Hands-on, pragmatic and commercially minded, with a willingness to take ownership and get things done.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers and business leaders on employee relations, performance management, engagement and workforce planning.
• Own the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, development, retention and offboarding.
• Lead recruitment activities and partner with hiring managers to attract and hire strong talent.
• Develop and implement HR processes, policies and programs as the organization continues to grow.
• Provide practical guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, performance and employee relations.
• Support initiatives around employee engagement, talent development and organizational effectiveness.
• Ensure HR practices are aligned with U.S. employment requirements and best practices.
• Maintain HR data and reporting and continuously look for ways to improve HR processes and the employee experience.
