Job summary

The Animal Welfare League of Arlington is seeking a Community Outreach Coordinator to expand AWLA’s outreach and programming in Arlington. The role builds trusted relationships with residents, nonprofits, housing partners, businesses, and other community stakeholders to connect people and pets with resources.

You will coordinate community events, volunteers, and interns, track outcomes, and support accessible services across Arlington in collaboration with AWLA teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to coordinate events and manage multiple priorities independently.
• Fluency in English; ability to work with diverse communities is valued.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with Arlington residents and partners.
• Coordinate community events, outreach programs, and volunteer activities.
• Track program participation, outcomes, and impact for reporting.
• Assist with resource distribution and referral pathways to AWLA services.
• Represent AWLA at community meetings and events.
