Job summary

The MSPCA-Angell seeks a Community Outreach Manager for our Boston Adoption Center. You will expand access to veterinary care, spay/neuter, vaccine services, and training/behavior assistance in historically underserved communities.

You will build partnerships, lead staff and volunteers, and coordinate events to extend our programs and services citywide. This full-time role requires a strong commitment to animal welfare, community engagement, and program development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or better.
• Minimum 2 years of animal handling experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• At least 1 year of customer service, social work, or nonprofit experience.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Extend MSPCA Adoption Center services to focus communities.
• Develop and integrate programs to expand MSPCA’s reach in Boston.
• Lead outreach initiatives with staff, volunteers and community partners.
• Coordinate free community vaccine and other events in identified areas.
• Serve as spokesperson for Community Outreach and manage media appearances.
