Job summary

The Southeastern Wind Coalition (SEWC) seeks a Program Manager to advance wind energy priorities in Arkansas. You will lead outreach, education, stakeholder engagement, and communications, reporting to the Central States Senior Program Manager.

This role blends policy work with program management in a mission-driven, entrepreneurial nonprofit environment. Remote-friendly while requiring in-person attendance at meetings and events in-state, with travel up to 25% regionally.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-5 years in NGOs, government relations, energy orgs, or related settings.
• Strong prioritization, decision making, and strategic thinking.
• Ability to build relationships with a broad stakeholder base via multiple channels.
• Experience organizing partners and gaining consensus.
• Excellent organizational skills and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

• Lead Arkansas program outreach and education efforts.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Coordinate events, meetings, and communications for program work.
• Support media, interviews, op-eds, and social content.
• Guide associate staff and represent SEWC publicly at events.
