The Arizona Association of REALTORS® (AAR) seeks an Associate Counsel to provide legal support on contracts, statutes, regulations, and risk management for its 50,000 members and the real estate industry.

This is a full-time, on-site role in Phoenix, Arizona, with a salary of $100,000 to $120,000 depending on experience; benefits include employer‑paid health insurance, a 401(k) with match, holidays, vacation, sick time and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Arizona real estate and contract law background required.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Ability to translate complex legal issues into practical guidance.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable addressing groups.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and negotiating contracts.
• Researching and analyzing statutes, regulations, and case law.
• Drafting and revising standard forms used by REALTORS®.
• Monitoring legal and regulatory developments affecting real estate professionals and the public.
• Assisting with Association policies, governance, and risk-management matters.
• Present at meetings, conferences, webinars, and educational programs.
