Job summary

TEEMA seeks an experienced registered nurse for a contracted position with the State of Arizona. The role involves administering medications, performing treatments, and coordinating care on an assigned unit within the geriatrics team.

You will document progress, contribute to discharge planning, and participate in interdisciplinary rounds. Ideal candidates will have active Arizona RN licensure, familiarity with geriatric nursing concepts, and prior skilled nursing or long-term care experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona.
• Knowledge of geriatric nursing theory and practice.
• Experience with ADLs and care planning helpful.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physician.
• Receive and relay resident information between staff.
• Lead and supervise staff, assist with ADLs.
• Maintain clinical and administrative documentation of diagnoses and progress.
• Participate in shift reports and inter-disciplinary team communication.
• Develop and implement resident care plans and MDS-related activities.
• Conduct staff training and one-off or ongoing education.
