Job summary

GForce Life Sciences is seeking an Ariba Operations Specialist for a remote, EST-hour 12-month contract. You will enter and submit requisitions, contracts, supplier requests and sourcing requests on behalf of business users.

You will monitor workflows, ensure all required documentation is attached, and coordinate with sourcing and finance to align on codes and GL entries. The role requires organizing, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience with Ariba or Coupa or similar procurement platforms.
• Must be organized with strong administrative skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Enter and submit purchase requisitions, contracts, supplier requests and sourcing requests for business users.

Remote- EST Hours

Ariba Operations Specialist needed as part of a Center of Excellence. Tasks include:

• Enter and submit purchase requisitions, contracts, supplier requests and sourcing requests on behalf of business users
• Interacts with business users to gather proper documentation for purchasing requests
• Ensures all required documentation (i.e. SOWs) is collected and attached to the requests prior to the submission
• Monitors and tracks requisition status across approval workflows; follow-ups with approvers to avoid delays. Provides detailed insights to the requester of service to promote transparency.
• Maintains an accurate and up-to-date requisition tracker for visibility
• Serve as the first point of contact for end users needing assistance with requests
• Coordinates with sourcing and finance to ensure alignment on commodity codes and GL coding
• Escalates stalled, rejected or non-compliant requests to the appropriate teams
• Support data entry and validate reports, metrics and audit documentation as needed

12-month Contract

Requirements

• Must have 2 Years of experience with above functions in Ariba or other procurement platform, ie. Coupa
• Must be organized and have great administrative skills to stay organized
• Must have great communication skills, verbal and written
• Must be able to work independently in a high-volume environment
