Job description

Ariba Operations Specialist II

6 month contract | Remote - EST Hours

Tasks include:

• Enter and submit purchase requisitions, contracts, supplier requests and sourcing requests on behalf of business users
• Interacts with business users to gather proper documentation for purchasing requests
• Ensures all required documentation (i.e. SOWs) is collected and attached to the requests prior to the submission
• Monitors and tracks requisition status across approval workflows; follow-ups with approvers to avoid delays. Provides detailed insights to the requester of service to promote transparency.
• Maintains an accurate and up-to-date requisition tracker for visibility
• Serve as the first point of contact for end users needing assistance with requests
• Coordinates with sourcing and finance to ensure alignment on commodity codes and GL coding
• Escalates stalled, rejected or non-compliant requests to the appropriate teams
• Support data entry and validate reports, metrics and audit documentation as needed

Requirements:

• Must have 2 Years of experience with above functions in Ariba or other procurement platform, ie. Coupa
• Must be organized and have great administrative skills to stay organized
• Must have great communication skills, verbal and written
• Must be able to work independently in a high-volume environment
