Job summary

People Creating Success (PCS) is seeking Direct Care Staff to support adults with developmental disabilities at a Northern Los Angeles residential facility in Oxnard. The role offers full and part-time shifts with a $20.25/hour wage, plus a $10/month cell phone stipend and benefits as you transition to full time.

The DSP staff will assist with daily living skills, follow care plans, and help participants engage in community activities while documenting progress and logs diligently.

Responsibilities

• Support participants with daily living skills such as cleaning, cooking, budget management, and light household duties.

• Encourage healthy habits, studies, hobbies, and social activities.
• Assist participants access and participate in community activities.
• Assist with personal care such as medication support, hygiene and bathing (lifting/transferring may be required).
• Collaborate on Person-Centered Care planning with participant, staff and management.
• Document shift and communication logs.

Your Responsibilities

Support participants with daily living skills such as cleaning, cooking, budget management, and light household duties

Who We’re Looking For

A valid driver’s license

Responsible, and can document goal progress tracking with detail

DSP 1 & 2 certification (preferred, applicants who are not yet certified can take advantage of our internal certification programs)

CPR / First Aid certification (Training will be provided if applicants are not certified or need to be recertified)

Weekend Availability (Is a plus but not required)
